Bun Yom needs your support for his new mission. In his tireless effort to help the people of this world, Bun has committed to raise $25,000 for the people of U Dong, Cambodia. This is enough to feed this entire community for a year, provide their children with a school and teacher, and prepare for their future.
The current economic situation and weather conditions have left millions of Cambodian people hungry. Bun’s brother Phon Yom lives in the city of U Dong in the Phnom Penh region of Central Cambodia. There are approximately 250 people who live in this community. The situation is so bleak for these people that earlier this year three families executed themselves rather than face the horrors of starving to death.
The people of U Dong can eat well for 25¢ per day!
Unlike many charities, the Bun Yom Cambodian Fund is 100% efficient. There are no overhead expenses, no transfer costs, and no administrative fees. Bun transfers 100% of donated money directly to his brother in U Dong where it is spent entirely on food and education for the people of U Dong and the surrounding areas. In U Dong $1,200 United Stated dollars will buy an entire container of rice, enough to feed this community for a month.
